Epiroc is one of Australia’s leading mining equipment manufacturers.
Perth Business Relocations has previously helped Epiroc with an IT relocation, but for this project we were tasked with moving two simulators and two lathes to a different location.
Due to the heavy nature of the equipment, we had to take a calculated and measured approach to ensure that no damage occurred to the building or machinery during the move.
Moving the lathes proved tricky as machinery was blocking direct access. We had to utilise cranes in order to relocate the lathes out of their current and into their new position.
The simulators were located in another area of the building and had to be placed on to special low skids in order to get them out the door. They were then lifted on to pallets to allow for easier moving.
